In this market, our bag-in-box solutions offer an alternative to the traditional stainless steel tanks (‘kegs on legs’ or ‘sputniks’). The stainless steel 1000L tanks as sterilized using steam, and filled from the bottom.

Qbig packaging solutions for dairy transport
Our CST valve in combination with our barrier films, and Free Flow Gusset liners offer the ideal combination to replace the stainless steel tanks, even for the low-acid aseptic products. The product can be filled and discharged using the existing infrastructure of aseptic machines (GEA) using the CST valve.
Smart technologies to minimize dairy packaging risks
With our Free Flow Gusset technology, operators can connect the valve to the filling line, and start filling, without the needs to manipulate the liner. As they also do with their kegs on legs. Our barrier films make sure the product is preserved in the right way, and under the right circumstances. It is fully equipped to meet the dairy industry’s standards. For the non-aseptic market, our liners equipped with DIN11851 threads (“Dairy threads”) are an ideal solution. These connect seamlessly to the existing infrastructure of most dairy factories and are therefore ready to use. For (mainly) the US market, fitments equipped with ‘Tri-Clover’ connections are available.
